Applying IT in agriculture is becoming common worldwide, because it raises productivity and product quality through remotely controlled, fully automatic crop-care systems in a closed environment — avoiding pests and disease, reducing labour and yielding outstanding produce. These systems are also fitted with sensor chips that report environmental readings and system activity, keeping every factor affecting the crop at exactly the right level for each stage of its growth.
Reporting figures are updated continuously and sent to the user's management software on a mobile device, to track measurements about the produce and the environment and to command the system remotely over the wireless network. For information to be updated and problems addressed in good time, the wireless network needs continuous stability, high speed and coverage wide enough to carry data from any point on the farm.

Scales out to cover very large areas with no cable runs
WiCell's Dynamic Mesh Bridging lets access points link wirelessly to one another entirely automatically, forming a mesh that carries data to management applications on mobile devices with no cable run to each AP position — saving installation time and cost while preserving performance, speed and stability.
High-speed connectivity
The access points work across the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands simultaneously, giving Wi-Fi and inter-station mesh link speeds of 300 to 866 Mbps. Multi-stream MIMO transmission keeps data flowing in both directions very quickly, and QoS (Quality of Service) traffic classification prevents the link from congesting.
Stable, uninterrupted operation
Built to the IP65 and IP67 protection standards against harsh weather, the equipment runs stably and durably. Intelligent automatic handover on the move (Smart Roaming), much like mobile network infrastructure, keeps the connection alive wherever you go within the coverage area without dropping data, so information keeps flowing continuously and on time.
Maximum coverage range
The access point's powerful 1000 to 1300 mW output extends coverage to every part of the farm, raising the signal level received by mobile devices and keeping connections strong and stable.
