AI Smart Roaming
Clients automatically move to a better AP as they roam, reducing dropouts and keeping speed stable.
Overview
The sticky-client problem
When moving into another coverage area, the device still sticks to the old AP even when the signal is very weak (can go beyond −85 dBm), causing slow or dropped connections. Media apps, IP cameras, IoT, smart home and automation need stable bandwidth and instant control — the device must always connect to the nearest AP.
This is the most important Wi-Fi function and users’ top requirement today.
Technology solution
AI solution
The AI algorithm analyses signal sensitivity (−dBm) from AP to device. A good signal threshold is set (e.g. 4–5 bars, about −30 to −60 dBm). If not met, it automatically disconnects and moves to another coverage area that meets the condition — the device connects to the nearest AP.
Seamless real-time connection while moving, always keeping the highest speed and signal.
Benefits
Consistently strong signals
Users experience Wi-Fi that always stays at 4–5 bars with high speed.
Suitable for real-time applications
Streaming, IP cameras, IoT, smart home, industrial automation.
Fully automatic
AI-controlled — no software intervention required.
