With newer Wi-Fi CPUs, congestion caused by the number of connections is less common. Major causes of intermittent Wi-Fi include interference, network speeds limited to 100 Mbps, poor DHCP routers and internet congestion due to insufficient bandwidth or users running BitTorrent/IDM.
