Overview
Controllerless — no interruption
Under normal conditions, WiCell APs periodically connect to the cloud system to receive commands. When the link is interrupted (server failure, network attack, firewall block, internal broadcast only with no internet…), the AP immediately switches to AP Lead mode.
This is a built-in architecture model that minimises the risk of APs losing service.
Technology solution
How it works
All APs that lose connection to the AI Cloud-managed Controller automatically switch to an AP Lead. The AP Lead runs independently and keeps the previous cloud configuration to ensure continuity for users. When the Controller is back, APs reconnect automatically and receive commands from the centre.
